How can we forget all those people who risk their life so that we would be safe in our homes? We get scared even about thinking of staying away from our family and those people remain months away from their families. They sacrifice so much for us which is just beyond price.

For those who doesn’t know who veterans are, they are the people who have devoted their whole life to serving their nation. They won’t even think for a second before risking their life for the nation. They are the real example of patriotism and we all should learn from them and their heroic stories. They ain’t just some fictional heroes, they are the real heroes of our nation and because of them we can take breathe in open.

In the gratitude of these military man we civil people have written some quotes to thank them from the bottom of our hearts and to let them know that we care for them and know what all they have sacrificed for our safety.

Do you know how many officers are killed every year so that we can breathe longer? If it were not for these guys, we would probably be living in the fear and dark. After the news of their heroic death, we realize all they have done for us and their sacrifices.

But don’t you think it is bit too late to thank them? Why don’t thank them for all the services they have provided us and for serving our nation while they are alive and tell them how proud we are of them instead of mourningin front of their cemetery the day of their heroic deaths regretting why we couldn’t tell them earlier that we are so proud of them and utterly in awe of their patriotism.

So, in the honor of these real heroes of our nation, we every year celebrate 11th of November as the Veteran Day to thank every military man for his services. So, let’s have a look on how this day is celebratedall over the world.

Veteran Day is scarcely remembered. But every now and then, we should take out the time to thank these brave people without whom our countries won’t be safe and maybe we would still be stooped deep in blood and war. But these people are the true superheroes.

Veteran Day is an official public holiday in the United States of America, observed usually on November 11. It honours all the military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forced. The holiday comes on the same day as the Armistice Day and Remembrance Day which is celebrated in other countries to mark the end of World War I. Many of the larger problems were ended formally on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, when the Armistice with Germany came into effect.

Before the holiday was called Armistice Day, the focus being on the veterans of the World War I who had risked their lives protecting American freedom on foreign lands. However, as conflicts grew from the World War I to World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, the focus of the holiday changed from Armistice. Instead, it was changed to Veterans Day, honouring everyone who served in the United States Armed Forces and risked their lives to protect the country.

Happy Veterans Day Images-

Veterans Day has always been celebrated on November 11. However, before it permanently became the 11 of November, Veterans Day was celebrated on the fourth Sunday of October. This created a lot of chaos in the United States since a lot of states did not acknowledge this change. This would result in some celebrating the holiday on November 11th, while some would celebrate it in October. Those opposed to the date change did not back down and as a result, the government changed the date back to November 11th starting in 1978.

There was also a conflict involving the grammar of the name. Today, many people spell the holiday as “Veterans’ Day”, but the government released official way of calling the holiday is “Veterans Day.” This is because the adjective spelling instead of the possessive-case spelling brings out that the holiday is for honoring the veterans, not a day that belongs to them.

There are many ways in which Americans celebrate Veterans Day. Many hang the US flag outside their house, while others have a picnic and cook outside. Watching war movies and other patriotic shows is also a pastime. Many donate to the veterans’ cause and show appreciation for the aged soldiers they meet or already know from before. Some veterans wear their military dress so that they’re easily spotted.
